You know as a parent, you’d do anything for your child – no matter what. So when my son started having ear infections and we found out he needed surgery, due to the threat of possible hearing loss, I wanted to ensure that at 3 years of age, he would get the best quality care.
We searched for all the options, it was not a happy time in our lives, such a small child, not hearing well and having constant ear infections, pain, and antibiotics as a part of a monthly routine. When you see your child go through something like that, all you want to do is take the pain away from them so they can feel better and be their happy selves again, that is why searching for the right doctor or therapist like Kinspire, depending on the issue, is at the top of the list.
When looking for the best option, we wanted to make sure of every aspect. Above all, we made to ensure that the facility and doctor were highly recommended and guided by the highest standards. We also wanted to find a location near us.
Our pediatrician recommended, CHOP at Virtua , just a few miles from our home!
Quality can be defined in several different ways: good outcomes, convenient locations, advanced technology, and compassionate caregivers who go above and beyond, just to name a few. My son found all the above at Virtua!
He needed to return for follow up and two other surgeries in a 5 year period, but in 2011, he was healed.
He found a very sweet and knowledgeable doctor, who confidently guided us and offered him the best care possible; allowing him after being treated at Virtua, to have his hearing recovered and no longer needs any more surgeries!
The peace of mind Virtua gave us is truly priceless and we are forever grateful to the doctor, staff and facility for giving our son the ability to grow up pain free, with his hearing restored, as any normal child would!
