I was so excited to receive the Samsung ActiveWash Laundry Pair, because our washer and dryer were in desperate need of an update and because of the amazing features and quality Samsung puts in all their products! Some are:
So, hubby and I decided that it was such an amazing washer and dryer pair that we needed to upgrade our laundry room, which is currently in the basement, to match our awesome addition! We might have some ideas for the décor in our basement, but we would only be able to confirm any of those once we have consulted with some basement renovators (learn more). We could create a second living area, or perhaps a movie theatre, but that is a discussion for another time. As for the new washer and dryer, to be honest, we were a bit confused at first because some of our friends told us to purchase a second-hand washer for our upgraded laundry room. They told us that a used washer could save tons of money. We were also advised to check out online shops like ShopZone, which is known to sell top-quality Ex-Display Furniture & Appliances. However, after intense discussions on this topic, we finally decided to purchase a new washer. Perhaps we will buy a second-hand washer sometime in the future when our current one wears out or needs a little help to handle the load of clothes.
Anyway, this is the current space where we will be installing the washer and dryer. It’s a bathroom adjacent to our guest suite:

I love the real marble on the floor, so we’re definitely keeping that!
This is the plan for the laundry area:
- We’re also changing the baseboards, that the dogs chewed on when they were puppies and maybe changing the wall color too, what do you think?
- We’re switching the vanity to a darker color
- We’re also working on a custom built space for our dogs, since they sleep in that bathroom and I want to take advantage of the remodeling to give them a cute and stylish space!
- We’re also going to add a folding station and supply shelving to allow us to fold clothes there

I’m so excited to see it all come together! We haven’t done upgrades in our home in five years, since we finished our large addition!
Can’t wait to pick out the decor items as well and start pushing those buttons to save energy, while preserving my clothes!!!
Samsung technology inspired me to upgrade other appliances, so our dishwasher is next! But hubby said, don’t even think about remodeling the kitchen right now!! Well, we’ll see! Do you think I could get him to agree to a sunroom addition to the home? You can see more here if you are of a similar mind, I know I am. I think it would be a lovely thing to have but I may have to persuade him more.

Wow I love the redesign and new appliances.
We have a lot of remake to be done at our laundry room as well as it has been years since we made changes. Samsung products are usually of great quality & high standards and the ActiveWash Laundry Pair is a wonderful add on to your laundry room for sure.
The new machines are very nice. I like the built in sink with the washer – that is a practical and very usable addition.

We just moved into a new house and there is absolutely nothing in our laundry room. No cabinets, shelves, nothing! I really would love a laundry makeover!

Love the look of the laundry room. I rent a one bedroom apartment so I have a laundry closet. I’m upgrading it to make it cute even though it’s small.
