The Mustang Mach-E has always been a favorite among the EVs I’ve had the pleasure to drive, but the opportunity to experience the Mustang Mach-E Premium and Rally moved the needle towards giving this vehicle a lane of its own. Today I’m sharing the Next Level EV : The Mustang Mach-E

Next Level EV: The Mustang Mach-E
We arrived in Seattle to learn about all the exciting new models and updates on the 2024 Mustang Mach-E.
The Mustang Mach-E GT
The Mustang GT gave me a different experience, than the 2024 Mustang I had at my home a few months ago, check it out HERE.
The ride not only offered an upgraded experience, but the attention to making this a premium, trendy and capable off-road vehicle brought me happiness, while enjoying EV life.
Here are some of my favorite features:
Driving Modes
As the 2024 Mach-E I drove, the driving modes give you different experiences and the power you need when you need it.
15.5″ Touch Screen with so many options, I didn’t have time to check them all out!
Loved that we could see the average KW usage and the navigation info on the bottom without having to leave navigation to go to another screen.
A Few Other Features:
Blue Cruise offered driving assistance, navigation, nearby charging stations and so much more!
You can move the toggle button up and down to adjust the speed of your Mach-E and keep a safe distance from the traffic ahead and relax!
I personally believe EV ownership is all about changing your mindset and living that lifestyle.
The EVs I’ve had at home, were primarily charged at my home, overnight. But when needing a fast charging station, we actually have 12 different options within a 5 mile radius.
Even when we take a walk or hike, we find charging stations at the parking lot.
Ford built a new partnership with Tesla Charging Stations to give Mustang Mach-E Customers additional charging options.
Ford electric vehicles (EVs) can charge at upgraded Tesla Superchargers in the United States and Canada with a Fast Charging Adapter.
Select Tesla Supercharger locations have a Magic Dock adapter built into their stations.
This new generation had changes made to make the new Mach-E offering more dynamic and capable than ever, connecting the new and updated Mach-E to the core of what makes Mustang Fans and Owners love about the previous gas versions.
Love the exterior changes, the earthy color tones and chrome trendy well thought-out design details.
The lifted back, the lights and the familiar “pony” gives this vehicle that extra push to leave the competition in the dust.
The Mustang Mach-E Premium
A few favorite features:
Range
The 2024 Mach-Es gain nearly 20 percent faster DC fast-charging, and about 20 percent greater range (10 percent increased range on the GT, for a total of 280). That puts the Premium rear-drive Mach-E with the extended range battery at a maximum of 320 miles estimated range.
Space
The spacious trunk which can fit all this hiking/camping gear. That makes this hiker and camper happy! Check it out!
Frunk
The Front Trunk not only offers the additional space you need on a road trip, but also it is a place to drop off your muddy boots or some drinks on ice or even the catch of the day!
No front engine means, more space for you to use the vehicle to adapt to your lifestyle!
Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System and 9 speaker premium system aligned with this quiet cabin, gives you the sound of freedom to be living a Premium EV life.
The Ride just prompted us to stop and enjoy the mountains, the water and all the green around us!
Mustang Mach-E Rally
We had a chance to experience the Mach-E Rally on both “On Road” and “Off-Road” Modes. This gave us the perspective that this is not only the most capable off-road EV I’ve had a chance to experience but also a great day to day drive.
It rained all day near Seattle at Dirt Fish Rally Location, providing us with the “perfect storm” type of conditions and terrain to check how capable the Mustang Mach-E Rally is!
Suited up, we experienced 2 different courses, designed to show us how the Mustang raised the bar in terms of capability, aggressive handling, impressive breaking response all while giving you the Mustang Joy Ride Thrill!
If you know me, you know I’m no rally expert, but I was excited to have the off-road experience. Especially since all my hiker/camper friends often mention, “we would love to own an EV, but we can’t take an EV to our weekend adventures”!
“They are not mud-ready”! Well, the Mustang Mach-E Rally came to change that!
I stepped into the car, believing in the vehicle, after I read what the Mustang Mach-E Rally brought to the table.
An EV drive, without compromise.
I want to start by thanking Dirt Fish for providing us with instructors during our off-road experience.
My instructor, especially, Michelle Miller, who not only brought some great tips and pointed what to look for, but also made suggestions on how to push the vehicle with each step ahead in the courses we experienced.
I loved that from the moment I stepped into the vehicle she believed that the Mach-E Rally was made for off-road fun, that the fast response and handling would be the perfect ally for the experience!
With precise handling and the different modes, it gave me as much or as little freedom as I wished to have while having fun driving it!
It was amazing!
The On Road Portion was shared with one of the most amazing drivers I know, Javier Mota.
We shared 20+ miles of mountain and highway driving which gave us the certainty that we already knew, The Mustang Mach-E Rally is the EV for your daily commute as much as it is the capable off-road fun ride for your bold outdoor off-the grid hiking & camping excursions.

Comfortable Ride
After spending a few hours on the off-road circuit, my neck and back, which you know, are not the best, surprisingly didn’t show signs of fatigue or pain.
I was able to comfortably enjoy the portion of the driving experience and a great conversation among Latinos who share the passion for vehicles while bringing our culture into our experience!
We both said, wow, are we already back? That’s how amazing the drive was!
I can’t wait to share it in my Hiking Group – Hiking In New Jersey where 12,000 like-minded hikers from all over the nation share their hikes, tips and questions and their love to explore!
The Mustang Mach-E experience merged the EV lifestyle at its best, with Bold Design Choices and added to the amazing off-road capability and fast response, making this EV one of the best EV driving experiences I’ve had.

Wow! Such a beautiful car. It’s nice that they came up with a partnership with Tesla for additional charging options. I guess this is really the one of the major concerns of people planning to switch to EV.

What a super cool looking car! I love the Touch Screen and Blue Cruise features. I’m going to be in shock when I finally trade in my 20-year-old Honda Civic!
I’ve driven a range of cars over the years but never a Mustang. This sounds like a lovely model with some great features especially the frunk, giving much needed additional space.
This is such a cool vehicle and I have heard great thinsg about this car. We just upgraded our car to a maxda CX5 Carbon Edition and absolutely love it! It is a great drive and looks amazing too. I have been checking consumer reports when looking for a car and Mazda hits the top 7 in the world a lot! They rank with the likes of Subaru, Lexus, Toyota, Honda and more. Pretty impressive and the reason we went with them this time around….. I am all about dependability!
