Pathfinder Rock Creek Adventures In Utah
I’ve always wanted to explore the mountains in Utah and enjoy the outdoors, so this was the perfect opportunity to do that!
Our Hotel, The Lodge At Blue Sky, was set in the perfect location with gorgeous mountain views, wild life, a creek on property, all adorned by the first fall colors.

So beautiful to wake and grab a cup of coffee overlooking the mountains.
We went for a 3 mile hike, conquering part of the trail and passing by a creek and wild life!
Of course our hike ended with lunch by the pool!

But Let’s Talk About How Much Fun We Had Driving The Pathfinder Rock Creek!
Getting ready to drive off-road to test how rugged and reliable this SUV is!
The hiker and camper in me couldn’t wait to hit the mountain and feel how the Pathfinder would handle the terrain, rocks and narrow turns.
Loved the descent control which is all about trusting the vehicle and taking the foot off the break and letting the Pathfinder do the rest.
Also loved the camera angles which change! So many options and when you slow down for rough terrain, it automatically activates the camera to give you a better view of the road!
The Rock Creek also has new off-road displays for the standard surround-view camera system.
One screen shows a split view from the front-facing camera and one over the front right wheel, while another displays the full 360-degree view
Favorite Spots In The Area And Lots To Do!
The Pathfinder is made for outdoor adventures, camping, hiking, some of my favorite things to do!
We took it to explore some local scenery, here are some of our favorite outings:

Fly Fishing
Hubby and I went on an adventure crossing the river and fly-fishing to catch some trout.
Our fishing buddy Colin caught two fish, we weren’t that lucky, but it was an unforgettable experience!
One of my favorite experiences on board the Pathfinder was finding the compartment under the trunk, where our muddy shoes and hiking & fishing gear can be stored! Smart, isn’t it?
Dinner On A Hill
We also had a very unique experience! Dining on the top of a mountain is something I will never forget!
How about topping off the adventures with a beautiful dinner outdoors overlooking the area! The view and the stars were just magnificent!
