Welcome to our Trendy Talk Podcast where we help you
grow your biz and your blog
& live the life you’ve always wanted,
one trendy talk at a time!
Photos are definitely the unsung heroes of blog posts. They help break up the content to make the post less tedious to read, they provide context, they help convey messages, and they can boost engagement. However, not many bloggers have much knowledge of how to take photos and make them look nice. This is why going to websites like Capture Guide and looking for tips and tricks that can help you improve your photography skills is a must. Photos are some of the most important parts of your articles and you’d be surprised how much perfecting your photography skills can help boost your blog. That’s why today’s episode is brought to you in partnership with Craftsy.com.
We’ve partnered with Craftsy, because I am using the photography area of their site to grow my own skills, since our topic today is photography, I thought you would like to check them out and sign up for the FREE membership and do like I did, move into the unlimited plan as you fall in love with the site!
This week’s episode of Trendy Talk Podcast also features our talk with fellow OmagInsider and Professional Photographer – Amy Boyle.
Amy has been a photographer for more than 20 years. She graduated from Northwestern University, where she received a dual degree in art history and marketing. Her body of work includes events, portraits, PR, and theater photography, which have been internationally published. She uses professional photography equipment from brands like Look Depot to ensure that she takes the best quality photos possible for the businesses she is working for. Amy also shot in multiple locations across the world and currently uses photography to grow her own business too.
Amy joins me, as a second term Oprah Magazine brand influencer. She’s a mother to four teenaged and beyond sons! With camera in hand, Amy is often seen sailing, camping, and bicycling with her family!
