I was looking through a memory box and scrapbooks with so many beautiful collections of my son’s early childhood and I found a small box with Origami he had made last year for me, a colorful collection of cranes, frogs, butterflies and many other figments of his imagination, some designed without any instructions, just wings of his creativity in action.
I closed the box and those memories made me look at my son and think how much he has grown; from the time he was a little baby and I used to sing Brazilian lullabies to him on the rocking chair! Knowing he would be my only child and there would be no other after him, I’ve spent a good part of his young years protecting him and sheltering him from harm, creating a loving, trusting, happy environment to foster growth and love.
Many times, I’ve made promises to him; promises to keep him safe, that I would always be there, to feed and take care of him always, that there was no measure to my love for him, which created a very strong bond between us. We have a very special relationship, which I’m proud of! I joke and say that he will always be a momma’s boy! He has in the past and continues today to place his safety in my hands.
The same way, JOHNSON’S® Baby always listens to moms and although their products have always been safe, they took a stand and changed their formulas to give moms peace of mind. They are launching a heartfelt campaign called “Your Promise is Our Promise” as a way to express their ongoing commitment to moms.
Just as moms make promises to their children, JOHNSON’S® Baby also makes promises so moms don’t have to worry about the products they use on their little ones. To share this commitment, they’ve created an inspiring story through the “Our Promise” video, as an open letter to moms showing scientists and their families coming together to build an origami stork mobile, symbolizing the delivery of their promise to always listen to moms. You can watch the video here below or on youtube: http://bit.ly/JBabyPromise
This video concept was inspired by a Japanese legend that folding 1,000 origami cranes will result in a wish granted and a promise fulfilled, which is thought to be a big labor of love. Changing their products was their labor of love for moms and babies, but they used storks in their video because they represent the delivery of babies, and the hopes and promises of families.
So let me share that the JOHNSON’S® Baby Family is excited to introduce you to their seven newly reformulated products:
○ JOHNSON’S® Baby HEAD-TO-TOE® Wash ○ JOHNSON’S® Baby Lotion ○ JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo ○ JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo & Conditioner for Thick and Curly Hair ○ JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo & Conditioner for Thin and Straight Hair ○ JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo with Calming Lavender ○ JOHNSON’S® Baby Soothing Vapor Baby Bath
My son made the crane on this picture, he loves working on origami, it’s amazing just looking at him immersed in that world of magic! Gives me confidence to continue making only one new promise: to always give him unconditional love and to be his Promise Keeper!
Would love to hear your opinion on the newly formulated products, can’t wait to hear all about it!

I have always trusted Johnson’s baby products. And nothing, and I do mean nothing, smells as good as a baby just out of a bath with those products.
