We went on a 7 day cruise and Puerto Rico was one of our favorite stops! Think you can’t see it all in one day? Well, maybe not, but here what we saw in Puerto Rico In One Day.
I’ve received a complimentary cruise with Holland America Cruise Line, but I’ve paid for this tour and all opinions are my own. This is not a sponsored post.
Puerto Rico In One Day

We started our day taking a tour of the Ayunque Forest.

Steep incline on board a small bus and lots to see!

On our way back we visited the Castillo San Cristobal: a beautiful fort with so much history and gorgeous views!

We could also see our ship from the distance!

Walking out in old San Juan, we explored places for a quick snack and to try the place where they created the Pina Colada: the restaurant Barranchina.

The Pina Colada history is contested, but the owner of Barranchina says that it was created there!

We hit the door when they were closing, but I begged and he made two for us!
Soooo good!

At Dusk we visited the Calle De La Fortaleza to take a must take pic with the beautiful colorful umbrellas!

Heading back, we saw some policeman who suggested we should leave the area we were walking at and head back to the ship!

But not before taking a pic at the beautiful and welcoming sign!

I know we want to head back to Puerto Rico one day to explore more, but we only had one day and made the best out of it!
