Fact: The Samsung Family Hub 2.0 is gorgeous, but it’s way more than that!
It’s truly a dream fridge and it’s making our life so much easier and better, I need to share all the excitement our family has enjoyed in the past few days, since we received it!
Here is what we love:
- It has a sensor, you don’t need to touch, it detects your presence
- A wide variety of Apps
- Let’s say you ran out of eggs, you are busy like me and no time to get groceries, depending on the time you order, you can get things delivered same day through Groceries by Mastercard and Instacart!
- You’re feeling chinese takeout or it’s pizza night – Grubhub can help!
The whole point of having all these options at your fingertips is make your life easier and better!
It allows you to list your favorite apps on the three pages you have available on the fridge (You can add pages if needed)!
If you are like me and cook shaking/dancing, well, music is a must for me when I’m cooking! Up to this point I had to play around with my Bluetooth speakers, no more!
It has a built in speaker – You have access to Pandora, Spotify … (and Pandora synced into my account and preferences) and Tune In gives me all the local radio and other options
So now, we get everything from our favorite Christian Radio Station to my son’s favorite dubstep’s tunes at our fingertips! Pretty cool, right? But it doesn’t stop there!
You also have access to a photo album which you can use for screen savers and for display on the homepage. You can also browse the internet and watch youtube videos!!!

You also have access to the recipes app and you follow along with the recipe while cooking, how awesome is that?? No more ipad falling into the pot!! LOL
But my most favorite feature is the View Inside feature!! You can see inside the fridge for example, when you are at the grocery store and you are unsure of an item or two! Now you can check your fridge while at the store and know if you have it or not!
It also saves energy, because you can see the inside without opening the door!
And you can see inside wherever you are … I told my son I will be watching him steal ice cream when I leave !! LOL
The 3 divisions allow you to have a stainless steel drawer for quick cool for meats and food you will cook the next day – and you can set the temperature for whatever you want to store in it. So much space, look!
Another cool feature is the clean screen mode, accessed through: settings; clean screen – so you can clean the screen and not be touching/activating apps on it!
You can mirror it to your TV, but you need a fairly new model to be able to do it. Our TV is 4 years old, we’re looking into updating it soon!
But what really amazes me, is that whenever you have technology, you can use it to bring the family together instead of pulling it apart, so for example, on Mother’s day, I woke up to a note with emojis! When I was traveling, I left some remote notes for my son and he loves doing that too!! So it’s our family, using technology to bring us closer together!
You can also create profiles for each family member with messages, to do lists and notes including special emojis:

This refrigerator sounds amazing. Ours is so small but it doesn’t belong to us. I miss the crushed ice maker and space the side by side has compared to an old school version.

I love the fact that you can have your groceries delivered! My life is so hectic that would be one less thing at have to worry and boy I would love that.
This technology looks incredible! I think I would spend more time playing with this technology than actually utilizing it for something helpful though. I guess that’s the fun of getting a smart fridge.
If I had this in my kitchen I would never leave that room! I would probably cuddle the fridge and just go into a trace of some kind. It is AHHHHMAZING!

I was dead set against this fridge when I saw it in store. I thought it was a waste of money for extra features I would never use. This changes my mind a bit though! The extra features actually look pretty useful!

This looks amazing! The “View Inside” would be so helpful to me – I’m constantly either buying too many of one thing or calling my kids to check on something. I love that you can order takeout from your fridge!
