Looked for a new Brazilian recipe to marinate some fresh shrimp I bought over the weekend! Found this one, Hope you enjoy it!
Ingredients:
1 pound of shrimp ( the larger, the better, LOL)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Minced garlic
Juice of one lemon
1 1/2 cup of white wine, I like the mild, not too dry ones
1 bunch of chopped cilantro and parsley ( the more, the merrier – Latin seafood recipes always have a lot of cilantro!!!, Coentro in Brazil)
1 tsp of adobo ( not spicy one)
Gather all ingredients and marinate shrimp in the fridge for at least one hour
Preparation:
Grill shrimp for over 15min, until cooked.
Secreto: If you are not crazy about cilantro and parsley, marinate without them, cook the shrimp and chop just a little bit of cilantro and place on top of dish for some color. Both herbs are strong and some people don’t like the taste after the marinate. You can also grill on a skillet or grill cooking sheet and use the broth after shrimp is cooked to pour over white rice! Bom Proveito!
