I’m going to confess, I’m a huge fan of the brand. As a nature lover, outdoors seeker, camping, hiking and paddling are a part of my active lifestyle. Subaru is a brand that embodies outdoor adventures, so today I’m sharing Subaru Forrester Trendy Features, among many others we love!
I received the Subaru Forrester Wilderness, for review purposes, but as usual, all opinions are my own.
Subaru Forrester Trendy Features
Outdoors Ready
I took the Subaru Forrester Wilderness Package to a local trail, as soon as it arrived.
Just by opening doors, I could feel that “trail itch” to head out and seek some green time!
The special driving modes, the engraved seats, floor mats, all make the Subaru Forrester a certified “mud ready” SUV.

But don’t let that fool you! Hubby and I were super tired after a crazy few days up and about and we took the Subaru for a nice long ride seeking some peace and quiet and water views.
Sometimes enjoying the outdoors means just that: peace and quiet.
After all, sometimes you just want to be outdoors and do nothing, just enjoy each others’ company, and have the car as a vessel to that state of mind.

Spacious Trunk
We took advantage of the Spacious Trunk to do an early “tailgating” at the Porchfest Event which happened in front of our home this past weekend!
The Subaru Forrester was definitely the life of the party!
20+ homes open their porches and front lawns offering music by volunteers and refreshments with all proceeds going towards keeping our local lake open for swimming season, so kids and adults can continue to enjoy it since the 1800s, when it first opened for public swim!
We shared snacks, beverages and music with local people to benefit our local Wenonah Lake.
Hubby and I sang as with a full band!
We had two other guest singers, Joe Frame and Kelsey Coan who did a phenomenal job!
Joe is a Jazz musician who graced this native Brazilian with some beautiful Brazilian renditions of Tom Jobim songs!
Kelsey sang a mix of pop and originals! Such a powerful voice!
I believe everybody had an amazing time! I know hubby and I did!
At some point we had over 30 people attending our performance in front of our home.
It’s great when the vehicle becomes part of a larger story and a part of your life!
Did you know that Subaru is the largest sponsor and supporter or The US National Parks, through the National Park Foundation and always bring dogs to Auto Shows as a part of their support to Dog Adoption Organizations as well.

We had a super busy weekend!
Also used the spacious trunk to transport 200 bottles of water, juice and my Brazilian Beans and Sides to our local church for our monthly volunteer luncheon.
Love sharing my culture with my community!
I believe we all need to do our part! Volunteering is a part of my DNA!

Get a clearer view of obstacles on the trail ahead with the standard 180-Degree Front-View Monitor, it also offers, as you can see other info on the vehicle, during your ride!
Trendy Interior
Love the golden details of the Wilderness Trim and how it contrasts with the dark interior. What do you think?
The brand has 25 mpg city and 28 mpg hwy, but we were able to get 26 mpg on our city drive.
The Subaru Forrester Wilderness comes at a great price in my opinion, for all the great features you saw, the price is $ 38,115 (price as seen).

This is so perfect for our family! We live in NYC, so we need something that can fit into parking spaces, but we love to travel outside of the city. SO we also need something that isn’t wimpy!
That’s a really nice SUV. I like that it’s big enough for a lot of space, but it’s not cumbersome. That on-the-go traction is a nice touch, too.
I love how simple that dial makes it to switch the traction to specific conditions. That adds so much stability and safety!
