A New Year brings me to reflect even more on how I can live a healthier life! In 2016, my busy schedule and all the commitments I had prevented me from fully putting in place my plan to develop even healthier habits!
2017 will be the year to get those initial goals accomplished, starting with healthier breakfast options! Since easy is the keyword – easy and healthy don’t always go together – I organized a healthy breakfast menu plan, which supports my goals, but it’s so easy you won’t believe it!
Let’s get to it!
Three Easy Morning Meals
I needed a key ingredient, my main problem before, was that fruit and yogurt for breakfast did not satisfy my hunger. Neither gave me the energy I needed to live my busy life! So I added one of my favorite breakfast options: belVita Biscuits which offer 4 hours of steady energy, when combined with 1 serving of milk and 1 serving of fruit and 18g of whole grain per a 50g serving!
The last week of December, I went to my local Walmart and purchased a few different boxes in the cracker aisle:

Fruits – add any fruit you like for breakfast. I buy blueberries, strawberries and bananas

As simple as that, freshly brewed coffee and delicious soft baked oats and chocolate belVita biscuits
Fruit cup, milk and belVita blueberry breakfast biscuits
Strawberry Banana Boat, instead of granola, I use the belVita Mixed Berry breakfast biscuits as the topping! Perfect combination!!!
You can put together many other options like a smoothie, blending yogurt, fruit and biscuits and have fun with it! It was the first time I could feel satisfied after a morning meal with energy to take on my busy schedule and enjoy a more healthier life than ever!!!
