We were hosted by Yogi Bear Jellystone Campground parks, but as usual, all opinions are my own.
Road Trips have been our safe way to enjoy the summer! As you know, camping is something my family truly enjoys, so today I’ll share with you our unforgettable camping trip.

Unforgettable Camping Trip
We looked forward to enjoying the Yogi Bear Jellystone campground in Williamsport, MD and knew that we would be out of our home, but still safe and social distancing!
The trip ended up exceeding our expectations and my son said this was the best camping trip ever, which is not something I hear every day!
Here Are A Few Reasons Why The Jellystone Park Trip Was Unforgettable:
Our Cabin
The set up was perfect for kids/teens, the boys claimed the loft and moved their things upstairs! We did end up using a guide to cabins when choosing the right spot for us because we didn’t realize how many cabins there actually were! #Thankfully, we found the perfect one for us.

Let’s take a closer look!
Super spacious, it gave the boys a space of their own at the loft! They loved it!

We loved how clean and beautiful the Pine Forest Cabin was!
Located among the trees, the Pine Forest Cabins are ideal cabins for a fun-filled family vacation!
Features include a lofted area for sleeping or kid-friendly fun, twin bunk beds, and a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed.
There’s also a kitchen, bathroom, and an outdoor area perfect for relaxing!

Let’s go outside!
We loved the Fire-pit, grill and picnic table with chairs!
They will deliver wood to your cabin & you need to bring your charcoal and other items for your grilling needs!

I just loved waking up earlier than my family one day and brewing the perfect cup of coffee and just enjoying the trees and silence around me!

Much needed rest for the stressful time that we’re living in, don’t you agree?
Camping just makes me happy!

So Much To Do
We loved the peace and quiet the campground brrought and the fact that we controlled how clean the cabin is and who is in there with us. But you know teens are all about action, right?
Well, we came to the right place!
Here are some of our favorite activities at the campground our teens loved:
The outdoor water park was definitely the best, my son loved the slides and the friends he made! Maybe once we are back home, I could look at options for some commercial grade bounce houses and buildable slides for the backyard so that the little one and his friends can enjoy summer properly! No one is too old to get on bounce houses, no matter what!
I loved that the pool would close every 90 mins to be cleaned and chairs, surfaces sanitized. We felt super comfortable when we saw they were going above and beyond to keep us safe!

Day 1, we arrived later in the afternoon, but we couldn’t miss a minute of the fun!

The water park even has a kiddie pool:

A full size pool

A water slide, even hubby didn’t want to miss out on the fun!

The Park was definitely one of our favorite activities there!

Day 2 We enjoyed a relaxing social distancing time at the Cabana and another gorgeous day of fun there.

So much to do, we wish we had stayed longer!
We loved the miniature Golf !

Loved having the option to play at night with the lights! They left it open until 10PM!
Clubs and balls were on a cleaning schedule as well.

The Slide was definitely a HUGE HIT!
Lost count of how many times they went up & down the slide!

Basketball Court
That was another hit! My son and his friend went there every day, a few times a day!

We also met a Pro Player, who was camping there with his family and brought his nephews for a fun game, only 5 players, but that’s OK, we wanted to make sure the boys had fun but were still following guidelines:

Snack Bar – Campfire Canteen

We enjoyed lunch! The food at the snack bar is teen heaven, believe me!
The boys were hungry after all the fun around the campground!

We loved having the cabana and being able to eat there, social distancing and ….not have to cook, right?
Best Vacation EVERRR!

We stopped by in the afternoon for the famous Bear Sundays!
We all tried different ones!

Soooo good!

I just love when we make memories and spend time together without having to leave the campground!
Yogi Bear Jellystone campground in Williamsport, MD is one we’ll never forget!
Here are some of our favorite activities for younger kids:
Crafts
We saw the Cindy Bear Pavilion ready to welcome young crafters!

There are many activities! So much fun!

We love that all the fun attractions had a plan in place for social distancing!
The Jump Pillow also had cleaning shifts!

Pedal Karts

Rock Mining

More

As a dog owner, I love that they had a special place for the pups to play and run around! It’s great knowing that pets are welcome and they have their special place!

Some of the add-ons you should consider:
A Golf Cart

The property is large, so moving to and from your cabin, RV, tent can be tricky without it! Those who are environmentally conscious can also go ahead and use it because some of these vehicles are powered by lithium-ion (like the Smartpropel product) have less toxic metals than other batteries.
Just be aware that even teens with a drivers license can’t operate it, unless they are 18+! Love that they give you a wristband to inform others that you are safe to operate the golf carts!
A Pool Cabana

If you’re interested in social distancing, while enjoying the pool, no better place than in your own space!

We loved having a mini fridge, chairs, couch and fan on a hot summer day!

We also loved having lunch from the Campfire Canteen there and not worrying about eating around other people, while enjoying the pool!
Hubby and I had the best time chatting and watching the boys enjoy the slide, a much needed break from a crazy year!

Cabin With Handicap Access
Our cabin had handicap access, which is something I haven’t seen.
It’s also great if you have little ones and need to bring them in with a stroller!

Tent with Privacy site
A lot of tent owners think about camping alongside with many other tents.
Loved that they had some tent sites which offered privacy and all the nature you can get around those sites!
It made me think about using our tent next time!

We loved so many things about the Yogi Bear Jellystone Campground in Williamsport,MD it is hard to find favorites!

We will surely be back soon!
My son is already asking to go back!!
Can’t wait to hear what you think!
As usual, give us a Trendy Shout!
