I cried through the movie for so many reasons! As an immigrant, a mother, a music lover and a believer, their story so beautifully crafted for the big screen will tell the story of an Unsung Hero: A Faith Story above all!

Unsung Hero: A Faith Story
The Story
Based on the true story of the Smallbones family!
The story starts when David Smallbone’s successful music company collapses, he moves his family from Australia to the United States in search of a brighter future, but what an unpredictable and hard journey!
With nothing more than their six children, their suitcases, and their love of music, David (for KING + COUNTRY’s Joel Smallbone) and his pregnant wife Helen (Daisy Betts) set out to rebuild their lives from the ground up.
Based on a remarkable true story, a mum’s faith stands against all odds; and inspires her husband and children to hold onto theirs.
What I Loved About Unsung Hero:
The story of resilience and trails changed their lives upside down, but the mother, whose faith was the “glue” that kept it all together, prayed and believed that in the end, everything would work together for their good.
As an immigrant, even though my journey to citizenship was a peaceful one, I loved seeing the movie start with an immigrant story, showing that trials follow you to change you and make you stronger.
If you seek God and place your faith in Him through the trials, he will prove to be faithful and will be with you, no matter what comes your way.
If you love the band FOR KING + COUNTRY, you have to see their
new film in theaters soon!
