Every year, I spend hours shopping, prepping and cooking our Thanksgiving meal! Nothing wrong with that, but by the time we eat, I really just want to go to bed! That’s why I’m excited not to be cooking for Thanksgiving this year, just enjoying friends and family.
Here is how I managed not to cook for Thanksgiving this year:

I decided to be on the Team Ham side! I usually have turkey for Thanksgiving, but thought a change would be a good idea, so these were my choices:

We have so many traditions at our home, like writing on our gratitude table cloth and sharing our gratitude thoughts before our meal; I also incorporate some of the Brazilian dishes into our appetizer time!
But what I’m really looking forward to this year, is the time with friends and family without the stress of worrying about the perfect meal or cooking and spending long hours taking care of it!
Don’t get me wrong, I love to cook, but having the blessing of clicking on the OMAHA STEAKS site, ordering our Thanksgiving Meal OnLine and choosing some amazing options to be delivered to my home before friends and family come, it’s a life changing experience for me!
Between traveling almost every week, getting deadlines met when I return and my family needs, I’m truly looking forward to watching holiday movies, spending time at home and just relaxing while reflecting on our blessings.
Now you know why I’m not cooking for Thanksgiving and loving it!

That’s great you have a plan for Thanksgiving! We have cooked for years and it is SO much work. We have kids and it is just exhausting trying to keep the kids busy all day while we cook. What a great idea!
Cooking for Thanksgiving has been our tradition for many years. But, I think change is good and I feel as though we might consider different options next year. I like the idea of cheesecake for dessert! <3
I don’t cook much on Thanksgiving because it is only the four of us. I only make the stuff that my kids and hubby likes.
This is a great option for those who have no time to cook for Thanksgiving! This New York Cheesecake looks like a homemade! Yum!

I actually cooked tonight (Monday). We had a mini Thanksgiving feast today since we will not be able to cook on Thursday.
I wanted to get our Thanksgiving catered this year. I hadn’t no idea Omaha Steaks was doing Thanksgiving food.

Oh my gosh… this is a perfect solution. Our families all have older kids who are involved with so many things that it requires us to be close to home. An easy meal is perfect!

Ordering Thanksgiving Dinner is amazing! We did this when I had my second child and it was a LIFESAVER! We were having a bunch of family in town to see the baby (2 weeks old) and I just couldn’t cook for everyone. This was awesome! I highly recommend it! It was the best!

I love Omaha Steaks! I’m actually excited about cooking this year. My husband will be cooking the turkey since I just had my gallbladder removed and I can’t lift anything over 10 pounds, but I’ll be making the rest of the yumminess! I’m starting my Thanksgiving meal prep today!
Sounds pretty good to me actually. My kids love a turkey but they also really enjoy steaks so this could work any time of years actually. I find it challenging to pick a good cut of steak so this OMAHA steak service would save me the trouble.
All of the food looks so good! I always cook for days because I host Thanksgiving every year. It’s exhausting sometimes but I enjoy all the traditions and spending time with family. Ordering my Thanksgiving online sure does sound tempting.
More people are eating out for Thanksgiving. Some will order the complete meal delivered. All works.
This might just be the best entertaining idea I’ve ever seen. I would much rather just have dinner ready to go than spend hours in the kitchen!
