I can’t remember a birthday at our house without Brigadeiros, as soon as I can remember, my sister and I rolled an innumerous amount of those little balls! You may use any coating you wish, but the most common ones are sugar, jimmies, nuts. I also used chopped mints. I made them for our New Year‘s eve but something is telling me they won’t last! Enjoy~
Ingredients:
2 cans of condensed milk
4 tbsp of butter (softened)
3 tbsp of powdered cocoa
Place ingredients in a pot in low heat and vigorously stir until it will not stick to the pot anymore, boiling, until it is not runny, but thicker and darker, about 20min. Spread butter on a dish and place mixture to cool off on it, when it is cool, form balls and pass them on the coatings chosen.
Segredos: Make sure it is not sticking to the pot or it will roll into a ball! your hands when it starts to stick to them, use butter on them before starting!
