You know I attend events all the time! The winter is brutal in some places! After the color, weather and blow drying, I need to make sure my hair is hydrated!
There’s a super easy hair mask I apply at night, right before my bath time, that helps my hair regain that shine and smells sooooo good!
You know I’m always looking for the best ingredients, so I’ve found that Sky Organics products are sourced from around the world with no artificial ingredients! It’s important to care about what you put inside and outside your body!
Let me share all about the ingredients:
Coconut Oil
This extra virgin oil is made with handpicked wild harvested coconuts! It reminds me of my grandfather’s farm in Brazil! We could just ask one of his employees to get some fresh coconut … so yummy!
I use it in so many of the typical Brazilian recipes such as Muqueca and Ensopado!
But today I will be sharing its use to hydrate my hair. You can also use it as natural hair conditioner or leave in. It will help you tame the winter frizz!
Lavender Oil
You won’t believe how good it smells!
Sky Organic’s lavender oil is pressed in France with real French Lavender! O la la! Tres Bien!
You can use it as bug repellent, before bed to help you sleep and in our case, to give that gorgeous hair shine with an amazing smell!
So let’s get to it!
Hydrating Coconut Lavender Hair Mask
What you will need:
2-4 Tbsp of Coconut Oil
5 Drops of lavender Oil
1 small bowl
Towel
Preparation
Mix the ingredients.
Apply from the middle to the tips and comb through. Two ways to apply, use the tablespoon measuring to apply and use your hands to make sure it’s uniform or use your hands to apply it. You will see it almost melts as you touch it.
Wrap a towel around your hair. Leave it from 30 mins. – 2 hours max.
Wash off with your regular shampoo.
You will see how silky your hair becomes and how great it smells!
Sometimes I use this recipe as a moisturizer on my skin at night! Also, my feet get soooo dry in the winter! It’s great knowing that what I am putting on my skin is not only organic but made with the best ingredients!
I’m hosting a GNO party at my house tonight, each one of us will have a sample to try! I’ve just made a batch and will keep it in a glass container! I wish I could send the smell to you!!! Sooooo good!
I can’t wait to hear what you think! As usual, give us a Trendy Shout!

Hi Claudia!
Do you avoid applying to the roots to middle?
Claudia Krusch
Yes, too much oil on your roots is bad for your scalp. I start in the middle all through my ends. Those are the much needed areas anyway.
