You know how much I love to cook and how food is a way to bring my culture and my heritage to my home, sharing it with family and friends! That’s why I’m so happy to be inviting you to join me in attending the Latin Food & Wine Festival!
Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, August 23, 2017
Location: At the Meadowlands Expo Center, NJ
Time: 5:00 p.m
The festival features samples from the diverse cuisines of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain & Portugal), Latin
America, and the Caribbean. Everything from paella, to pupusas, to empanadas, to mofongo, and
everything in between. Beverages include the full gamut of wines, sangría, rums, pisco, and other sumptuous spirits and libations. I can hardly wait, Que rico!!
The event will also feature:
- Musical entertainment and cultural presentations.
- Over 40 restaurants will offer their delicious food.
Last year the festival entertained over 900 visitors!! The celebrity chefs presenting at the event are headlined by Fernando Desa, Goya’s Executive Chef, and celebrity Chef Ricardo Cardona, a radio and TV personality who is Marc Anthony’s personal chef; Carolina Arias, an expert on the Cibao Region cuisine of the Dominican Republic, and Eddy Fernández Monte, president of Cuba’s Culinary Federation who will lecture and prepare dishes of the classical Cuban cuisine.
“We are asking all those interested to register early, as we expect a large audience, so it is first-come first-served, explained Bill Colon, lead officer of the World of the Latino Cuisine organization.
