I miss cooking dishes from Brazil, so I’ve started researching what dishes are keto friendly. Today I will be sharing an easy and delicious Keto Brazilian Shrimp recipe.
Keto Brazilian Shrimp Recipe

I remember growing up in Brazil and the aroma of a good moqueca cooking. That simmering memory that always brings me back to my roots and my mom’s dishes!
The Moqueca is a Brazilian dish that dates from slaves, infusing some local oil with the Portuguese shrimp stew! Such a delicious combination, you must try it!
But what I recently learned is that one of my favorite dishes is not only healthy but also keto friendly.
Brazilians eat this with white rice, but I am happy to enjoy this dish by itself because each serving only has 7 carbs!

This easy and delicious recipe will become a favorite!
- 1 1/2 Pound Shrimp deveined and tail off
- 1 Tbsp Olive or MCT Oil Avocado Oil is Also great!
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 Large Tomato diced
- 1 Can Coconut milk
- 1 Tbsp Palm Oil
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Pepper
- 1/4 cup Chopped Cilantro
Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil.
Add tomato and shrimp, salt, pepper and coconut milk and lower the heat to simmer until shrimp is cooked or for about 15 minutes.
Add Palm Oil and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
