I’ve started my Keto Journey in 2020, after having tried everything I knew and not eating a lot or unhealthy, being unable to lose weight. Keto was the answer and has been since. Today I invite you to join me to embark on the Keto Challenge 2024.
Keto Challenge 2024
I decided to wait a few days to let the New Year’s Resolutions Hype go away, because for me, living a healthy lifestyle is a lot more than just a few weeks in and out goal not reached kind of thing.
I hope, if you decide to embark in this Journey with me, you will take the steps, baby or not, towards a healthier and better life.
Before I outline the Keto Challenge, I want to discuss some myths:
- Keto is all about Bacon and Cheese and Unhealthy Food- wrong. I’ve learned early on that a healthy Keto lifestyle is all about balance and always had vegetables and fruits as a priority when counting my macros (I will talk later about that). Yes, I do eat bacon occasionally and cheese often, but they are a part of a well balanced diet.
- Keto is all about fat – wrong. Keto is about taking control of carbs and sugar intake and balancing it all with proteins to help you live healthier, while losing weight.
- I will not have any energy if I reduce my sugar and carbs drastically – in the beginning, that happened to me, but I adjusted my diet adding some other ways to give me that “boost”.
- Keto alone is the way to go – I have also found that it is a combination of fasting, exercise and Keto lifestyle to work.
Now that we got the myths out of the way, let’s get started!

Your take on Keto is so realistic and encouraging! Breaking down those common myths about Keto has truly changed my perspective. It’s reassuring to hear that it’s not solely about high-fat foods but more about balancing macros and making healthy choices!

I like my carbs too much to go keto. Plus it would be very hard considering I work in fast food at the moment. I am looking for a new job so maybe in the future.

I wish to your good start in this keto challenge. But this keto should be studied and controlled.

It’s great that you found something that works for you. I think the key is to make it a lifestyle. So many people just do it for a month or 2 to lose weight and then go back to their regular unhealthy diets.

Thank you for explaining the myths behind the keto diet. This sounds like a challenge I should join!

Your no-nonsense approach and busting those Keto myths have got me motivated. It’s refreshing to know it’s not just about bacon and cheese (although I do love them), but about balance and a sustainable lifestyle. Excited to join the challenge starting January 15th and looking forward to those weekly tips and recipes.

I like that you get to eat cheese often. I agree moderation is key.

This Keto challenge looks like a good way to kick off the new year! Great thing to address a lot of the diet misconceptions too.

Good luck with your keto challenge! My husband is diabetic so we tend to buy things that are labeled keto to help him with that.

I like your approach to the Keto diet. Sadly so many people use it as an excuse for eating too much meat and fat. Then they don’t loose all the weight.

Good luck with this! I am sure you will do amazing. I enjoy Keto foods, but I admit, I can never give up my carbs. I love bread way too much.
