A lot of my friends tell me Keto products are expensive and that is why they will not attempt to follow the lifestyle. Today I’m sharing my best tips on how to do Keto On A Budget and how to save!
Keto On A Budget
Before you shop, you can browse some Keto Recipes HERE.
Find The Best Store
Let’s start with the not so obvious truth that your favorite grocery store is often not the bargain place to shop, right?
So why not find no brand items such a vegetables, protein, milk, creamer, cheese and cleaning products and buy them at stores like Aldi & Walmart.
Keto Products
I’ve hunted for Keto products all over and Aldi is by far, my favorite store for Keto products!
Bread, crackers, special cheeses, Keto ice cream and so much more are only found there and for the best price!
My Keto Creamer Nut Pods are less expensive at Walmart, so are the low carb tortillas, Gatorade Zero and Keto Yogurt. I plan a daily trip there just for these products.
Vegetables, fruits and main shopping items are picked up at Aldi.
Do Your Homework
I love grabbing things from Amazon, because let’s be honest, they have basically everything, but they not always have the best price.
I shop at Amazon for items I don’t find at grocery stores but need for a recipe or baking sweetener Swerve, which I never find at grocery stores.
Strict Budget
If you are on a strict budget, you can still do Keto. Just skip bread, expensive baking items, flour.
The foundation for staying on Keto can still be done on a strict budget, you’re just not going to get the extras.
But you can:
*Bake items at home with less expensive almond flour and monk fruit sweetener
*Make your own Keto bread and crackers, you can find some awesome ideas HERE.
*Sub more expensive items for less expensive ones, like sausage instead of bacon, chicken instead of steak, expensive sides for roasted veggies.
*Snack on berries, guac and low carb chips, nuts, homemade Keto Crackers.
