I have seen Hawaii from pretty much every angle. I’ve gone on hiking tours, the Kai Kanani Tours, and have even been on a Hawaii bus tour. I didn’t think there would be any other way I could possibly tour around the wonderful island… But then I found out about the helicopter tours! When I found out that I was going to take a Helicopter Tour over Hawaii, I was just bursting with excitement! Maybe I’ll be able to scout my new home from up here, I’m kidding, of course, I’m not moving to Hawaii but believe me, it is tempting! I may have to check out some Wailea condos Maui for sale just for future reference… that’s all!
Anyway, on Oahu, Waikiki Beach is just the beginning. In one amazing tour, we experienced the breathtaking scenery of this Island’s hidden rain forests, lush valleys, and stunning historic sights. We glided over the vivid turquoise coral reefs of Waikiki, looked down into the extinct volcano of Diamond Head, and the crescent-shaped Hanauma Bay, white-sand Waimanalo beach, Chinaman’s Hat and the beautiful coral formations in Kaneohe Bay.
We also saw the cliffs of the Nuuanu Valley rain forest, then flew along the breathtaking coastline to legendary Sacred Falls and the panoramic Dole Pineapple Plantation. Our Oahu adventure also included sweeping views of Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial and the Battleship Missouri and so much more!
We headed to Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to embark on this exciting journey! Christina and I were the co pilots!
Our pilot, was the funniest guide I’ve ever had in my life, making us at home and at the same time making us feel safe on board!
We started the tour overlooking Honolulu, I stretched my legs and enjoyed the ride:

We then, overlooked Kualoa Ranch, the location where the movie Jumanji was filmed, among many other amazing movies. So exciting to be able to see it from above:
We also checked out the Dole Pineapple Plantation, which is truly massive:
But one of my favorite moments was the really close to home flight over Pearl Harbor and the magnificent view of the USS Arizona Memorial. As a foreigner who loves this country, this was a moment I will never forget, one of those “love my job so much” moments, you know? So unbelievably amazing, I needed to share with you:
The Helicopter ride was a true gift to us during the trip. It made me want to come to Hawaii, to experience all these locations up close!

For a moment, I was living thru your post!! I love it – Hawaii is such a great place to vacation and it’s kid friendly for those that have kids. The helicopter tour rides are always a must-do on my list when i’m there.
