I know restaurants are open, but we have decided to spend Valentine’s Day at home this year. Today I’m sharing a few ideas you might like for your Valentines At Home.
Valentine’s Day, no matter how long you’ve been together, can be stressful for a relationship. With all the competition for reservations at restaurants and lines at movie theaters, Valentine’s Day is overrated. Rather than going out to a restaurant, stay in, avoid February’s chill, and plan a romantic evening at home. But make sure you look for the best gift ideas out there, like photo book ideas, unique photo book ideas, experiences that are meaningful, etc., and find something that will make their day.
Valentines At Home Ideas
Fondue Fun
Valentine’s dinner is cliched, so why not treat your partner to a fun fondue for lunch? Start on a savoury cheese fondue with bread and tortillas, then move on to a rich chocolate fondue with strawberries and pink marshmallows.
Valentine’s Gifts
Why not buy something your significant other has been asking for and give it to them for Valentine’s Day with a cute homemade card? Or, go down the sexy route with Illustrated Erotic Stories or lingerie – whatever floats your boat!
Gifts can also be given to the kids to keep them involved. My son wanted a new keyboard and hubby was looking for comfortable sweat shirts, so I’ve ordered them to surprise them on V-Day!
Give The Gift of An Experience
Kids are so tired of staying at home! Why not take them for a hike or a drive through treat?
You don’t need to compromise social distancing!
Just think outside the box!
Valentine’s Meals For Two
I am on a keto lifestyle, so while planning for our meal for two, surprisingly surf and turf is an awesome keto meal! So, why not?
Or you can also check some awesome appetizer ideas HERE.
Games
Why not get the whole family involved in a game night?
Such a fun way to spend Valentine’s Day together!
Just gather your favorite games, a couple snacks and you’re set!
Movie Night
Why not do a movie marathon on Valentine’s Day or pick something to watch with your kids/partner?
So many great movies out!
Bring the popcorn!
Cook Together
Nothing says love more than cooking, baking with your kids, significant other!
My son and I love baking cookies together!
Takeout
If you don’t feel like cooking or baking, why not pick your favorite foods and order takeout or delivery style? You can also try something different from what you usually order. A Japanese or Thai cuisine, for instance! If you choose to do so, you just need to google search something like San Francisco Japanese Food and check the available options.
Let’s Get Moving
Why not do a workout session at home? So many youtube options!
Maybe if you have the equipment, invite your Valentine/s to join you!
Here’s my home gym, I’m planning to do a workout with my son!
Ride And Drive
Why not take your car and go for a drive?
My son got his permit in December, my plan is to invite him to drive us somewhere. I know he will be happy and proud to do that!
