I was hosted by Nissan and the Chicago Auto Show to attend, but as usual, all opinions are my own.
The Chicago Auto Show is always a highlight of my car journey for the year! Today I will share some of my favorite rides and stay tuned for a special EV Edition of the Chicago Auto Show 2024.
Chicago Auto Show 2024
Let me start by highlighting brands I have the honor of working with all year long through short term loans or media trips.
For me, a long term relationship and additional time experiencing vehicles from a brand give me the chance to fully showcase them on a fast paced event like the Chicago Auto Show!

Ford
Ford Bronco
You already know I’m a fan, but seeing all the new options and different trims for the Bronco at the Chicago Auto Show, got me even more excited about this trail ready vehicle!
Ford Built Wild – ‘BUILT WILD’ showcases the capability of Ford’s Bronco family of vehicles. The highlight is a Bronco off-road course, where visitors will tackle a 38-degree Bronco Mountain. You’ll feel the thrill of the climb while learning more about impressive Bronco tech like G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) Mode capabilities and technology that makes off-roading even more exciting and intelligent. (Riders must be at least 44″ tall. )
Ford is once more bringing the Bronco Experience where attendees have a chance to experience the bronco capability of off-road endurance first hand.
Mustang
It was great to see the Mustang Dark Horse and the GTD up close.
The Mach-E Bronze offers new features and a look that is hard to forget.
One of my favorite features: you can hear the Mustang GT “rumble” with a touch of a button, which is pretty awesome!
Mustang GTD
Meet the most audacious Mustang ever. Built to be the fastest roadgoing Mustang ever, targeting more than 800 horsepower. State-of-the-art features include a carbon fiber body and first-of-its-kind suspension that adjusts the spring rate and ride height settings for track or street conditions. Expected pricing will begin at approximately $300,000 MSRP
Mach-E Bronze
The electric Mustang Mach-E model lineup continues to expand with a new Bronze Appearance Package available exclusively on the 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT.
This latest offering encourages personalization synonymous with the Mustang brand. The 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Appearance Package features:
- Striking 20-inch Sinister Bronze painted aluminum wheels
- Eye-catching Mustang “Mach-E 4X” door badges and rear GT Badge outlined in Sinister Bronze
- Bold bronze mesh front grille that adds dynamic coloring and aggressive style to the vehicle’s exterior
- Available on Shadow Black, Star White Metallic Tri-Coast and new Eruption Green body colors
- Improved performance capabilities with optional upgrade, delivering the quickest Mustang Mach-E ever. More details on the performance upgrade will be shared at a later date
- Plus, new standard features to the GT model include:
- MagneRide Damping System to help improve handling performance
- Performance-focused components including 385-millimeter front rotors with red-painted Brembo (R)-branded front brake calipers performance seats.
- 10-Way Power Driver Seat
Online customer orders for the 2024 Mustang Mach-E will open later this winter.
Mustang Mach-E Rally
The first-ever rallycross-inspired EV from Ford brings Mustang freedom and fun to dirt roads. It will still have the dirt flecked tires from its excursion across 1500 miles of stunning Nevada and California desert. The Mustang Mach-E Rally joins the Mustang Mach-E family and charts a unique course for electric vehicles
Ford Ranger & Ranger Raptor
I had never seen the Ford Ranger in person! Loved checking it and the Ranger Raptor out!
The all-new 2024 Ranger Raptor is the most powerful, high-performance, off-road capable Ranger ever and arrives alongside the adventure-ready all-new Ranger. Both are proudly assembled in the U.S. You’ll be able to see what’s unique about these two global powerhouses.
Ford Lightning

Loved hearing about a Pole to Pole story on the Ramsey couple who took an Ariya Pole to Pole and what a great story they had to tell!
A modified Nissan Ariya EV has become the first vehicle to drive from the North to the South Pole.
Chris and Julie Ramsey traveled 17,000 miles in their EV, which they called Sonrisa. The couple embarked on the trip to dispel myths about how capable EVs are

Lucid
2024 Lucid Air: The Lucid Air sees the addition of a new high-performance Sapphire trim for 2024, but otherwise remains unchanged.
The Sapphire produces 1,234 horsepower and has distinct styling, wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires. The Lucid Air is a luxury electric car that seats 5 passengers and is only offered as a 4-door sedan
I had a chance to get a personal walk through and I can say I’m very impressed with the attention to detail, range and design of the Lucid Air.

Kia
Kia Carnival
2024 Kia Carnival: The Kia Carnival remains unchanged for 2024. The Carnival seats 7 passengers and is only offered as a 4-door minivan. Competitors include the Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna.

Subaru is once more bringing some great outdoor, fun vehicles and puppies for adoption! I love all the partnerships they have with the National Parks & SPCA!

Love coming to the Subaru space and playing with the puppies which are up for adoption!
Also love their mission to help the SPCA & National Parks around the nation!
The Subaru space always inspires me to plan a hike or a camping trip!
Chicago Drives Electric indoor test track
Chicago Drives Electric – Thanks to a partnership with ComEd, the 2024 Chicago Auto Show features a battery-powered electric vehicle test track that will allow attendees go for a ride in some of the latest battery-powered electric vehicles. Participating manufacturers include: BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Kia, Lucid, Nissan, Rivian, Tesla and Volkswagen.

I was thrilled to attend the Chicago Auto Show 2024, where I saw the latest innovations and designs in the automotive industry. I was especially impressed by the new electric and autonomous vehicles, which promised to make driving safer, greener, and more fun. I even got to test drive one of them, and it was an amazing experience that I will never forget.
I have been to several auto shows, most recently the one held here in Houston, Texas. I’ve also been to the big auto show in Detroit, which is loads of fun.
Very cool to get out there and see what is available before everyone else. You will all ready be in the know and with so many things coming out and not staying the same this would be a cool place to be. THanks for sharing
