I’ve been frustrated with the weight which has packed over the last two years and even more after my back injury. I’ve made the decision to stop trying and really do it! So today, I will share what I’m doing to stay healthy & Fit This Holiday.
Healthy & Fit This Holiday
First I want to share my goals! I’ve raised the bar and want to lose 30 pounds in 6 months. I am currently a size 6-8 depending on the brand, still fitting in a medium, but I feel more comfortable as a 2, so let’s do this.
If you’re thinking I’m crazy to do this on the month we eat and drink during the holidays, well my reasoning was, if I can do this in December, I can do this all year long.
Can you tell that I’m committed? I have wanted to get fit and healthy for so long that it has only just taken me until now to do something about it. I don’t think I was particularly unhealthy before, but I just knew that I could be healthier. I know this may sound silly but since I started working out, I can actually feel it working. After my workouts, my muscles are very sore, and depending on which routine I do for that day, sometimes my back even starts to hurt. There is a possibility that I will need to add some healthy supplements to my diet (like TRS Detox Spray) to help me meet my daily nutrition needs and detoxify my body.
I guess that this is all part of getting healthy though, right? I know it will be worth it in the long run. Even after this short time, I have noticed such a difference and long may it continue. Moreover, I can track my progress with the help of Sports and Fitness Scales which could make weight loss a lot easier since I can modify my routine and diet accordingly. I just wish I could do something about this pain and muscle soreness that I’m experiencing though.
If it doesn’t get better soon, I may have to ask my friend for advice. She’s a fitness fanatic and has been through the same thing that I have been through. I think I remember her saying that she went for a deep tissue massage when she was working out because, apparently, a deep tissue massage targets hard to reach muscle fibers beneath layers of skin and tissue which sounds so beneficial when you’ve just pushed yourself to the limits at the gym. Actually, this is something that would be lovely all year round, so I may have to consider doing this soon.
I’ve got the itch for working out so I’m more than willing to do this at any time of the year. Why don’t you join me on this journey too?

These are some great ideas. I need to work on being more fit too. I did so well at the beginning of the year, then with everything that happened, it just slipped away. I love to walk, so I’d love to start with that, and I’ve always wanted to do yoga. I should give it a try too!

That is such a great workout room! I wish I had that setup. It makes it easier to stick to things when you have good equipment.

I love your workout room. We just bought an exercise machine and it has to be placed in my son’s bedroom. Thank goodness he is away on a ship for a while
