Summer is here and you know, it’s time to show off that beautiful summer tan!
Best Tips For Summer Workouts
Make Sure You’re Hydrated
I love infused water, also keep a bottle or large glass by my side when I workout or drink plenty right before I go out.
I don’t like the sugar in most drinks, so water is my best friend before, during and after my workout session!

With the abundance of strawberries we had this year, I’ve been adding strawberries and mint as well! Soooo good!
Have a Workout Plan
Sometimes I don’t have time to go to the gym, so it’s important to have options! Here are some of my workout options:
Hike
I have a creek and a great path with 3 miles of moderate walk, so we often take walks there when it doesn’t rain or early morning, before the sun hits the ground.
If you’re not that lucky, you can always look for parks nearby and change up things by following new paths!
Gym
I go to the gym with my son, because as a high school basketball player, he needs to workout twice every day!
So I piggy back on his drive and go at least once with him! Great for me and I am able to show him some support!
Home Gym
I am also lucky to workout at home, if I want! We have a complete home gym.

I love having the option to not get out of my house with my hectic schedule and squeeze in workout time, even when I didn’t get a chance to go to the gym when it rains, and also when it’s cold outside, no excuses, right? You can do a lot of stuff from home to reach your fitness goals, you may even be able to get abs overnight at home with these workouts as well as sticking to a certain regime, there is so much that you can do to get the body you’ve been dreaming about.

I think it’s just as important to choose the right music to keep me going as it is in choosing my outfit and my sneakers,!
I currently subscribe to Spotify which gives me the options to have different playlists, not only in English but in Spanish and Portuguese!
