I know Easter is a time when all can think of its chocolate, right? Well, not really. It is a time to get together with family and friends to celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection! If you’re looking for healthier options for your Easter Dinner, here are Great Keto Easter Dishes.
Great Keto Easter Dishes
Ham
Ham is a traditional Easter Dish and it is a great Keto option if you don’t put brown sugar, maple syrup or sugary coatings in it!
You can split the ham in two, make a glaze for non Keto eaters and use Swerve Brown Sugar or Zero sugar honey to make a glaze for the Keto lovers at your house!
Seafood Dishes
Easter meals in my Home State Bahia in Brazil are all about seafood!
A tradition that came from the Portuguese who colonized Brazil and later was infused with the bold flavors of African slaves!
It gets better, a lot of the seafood dishes are low calorie and keto friendly seafood dishes!
Ensopado De Camarao – Shrimp Stew
You find the Shrimp Stew Recipe HERE.
Muqueca de Camarao ou Peixe – Shrimp or Fish Stew With Palm Oil
The version with palm/dende oil is HERE.
Bacalhau ao forno – Baked Cod
The original recipes for Portuguese Cod usually ask you to add potatoes, but you don’t have to. The bacalhau has a unique taste, just adding onions, olives and EVOO and baking it is enough in my opinion.
Just make sure if you buy bacalhau, to take it the day before and immerse it in water and change the water a few times to remove the salt to taste. I usually change the water 4 times.
Potato or Cauliflower Souffle
If you’re strict on Keto, you might want to make the cauliflower version of this great side dish!
You can use the top for my Keto Shepherd’s Pie Recipe and make your Cauliflower Soufflé or make the potato soufflé recipe below, just click on the picture for the recipe.
Red Meat
Red Meat is always a good idea when it comes to Keto! Just make sure you lay low on creamy sauces and let the flavor come from the meat you choose, like a steak or roast!
Side Dishes
Veggies are always a great idea when it comes to help a meal be healthier and flavorful, but on Easter, if you use some extra carbs on the main dish, grab some low carb veggies like broccoli, peppers, cauliflower, spinach, Brussels sprouts.
Roast the veggies with salt, pepper, garlic power and smoked paprika and EVOO! Yummm, you got an easy side dish ready and delicious for your Low Carb Easter Meal!
Not ready to make the dishes, save for later:

These Keto doshes look incredible and I am fine with no glaze on the ham esepcially if it is a delicious and well crafted ham! I love the cauliflower soufle too and that brazilian shrimp dish looks crazy good! Thank you for sharing!
